First Aid at Work is a 3 day course running on 15th, 22nd and 29th June 2012.

Courses will be run throughout the year. Dates to be confirmed.

Course material is included in the price and the First Aid at Work handbook can be kept for future reference.

This training course can be delivered on site.

Certificates will be despatched up to 6 weeks* following the course.

Successfully completing this course enables an individual to become a fully trained Qualified First Aider.

This 3 Day First Aid at Work Course is designed to train people to become Qualified First Aiders in the Workplace and is an HSE Approved Course. This course meets the requirements of the First Aid at Work (1981) regulations.

The course will teach candidates the skills needed to deal with a patient who is not breathing, unconscious, injured or ill until such time the Emergency Services arrive.
The course also includes what to do after an accident or incident at work, reporting procedures, disposal of clinical waste and ensuring that your first aid kit complies with the standards set by the HSE.

 Management of Anaphylactic Shock
 Dealing with Sudden Poisoning
 Managing a Casualty for a range of Major Illnesses

 Asthma
 Diabetes

This course requires you to complete both a written and practical examination.

A First Aid Refresher course needs to be taken when your Fisrt Aid at Work certificate expires. There is a time period of one month to complete the refresher course after the certificate expires, if this is not taken, then the full First Aid at Work qualification will need to be completed again.
